Ploof+ is the rewards programme from Ploof. You earn points for the everyday cost of pet care — vet visits, grooming, boarding, food, training and partner shopping — and swap them for vouchers from the brands you already use.

How much does Ploof+ cost?

Ploof+ is free. There is no subscription, no joining fee and no catch. We earn a small affiliate commission when you shop with our partners, and we pay most of that back to you as points.

Do I need to download an app?

You can use Ploof+ on the web today. The iOS and Android apps are launching soon — if you sign up now, you'll be first in line and we'll text you the link the day they go live.

How many points do I get when I sign up?

Every new member gets 500 welcome points (£5 of vouchers) the moment they verify their email.

How do I earn points?

Accepted Answer

Three main ways: (1) shop with a partner brand via Ploof+ — points are tracked automatically, (2) upload a vet receipt for a verified visit, (3) refer a friend and you both get 500 points when they sign up.

How long do affiliate purchases take to track?

Most partners report the click within minutes and confirm the purchase within 30 days (after their return window). You'll see a 'pending' entry as soon as we receive the click.

What's the conversion rate?

100 points = £1 of vouchers. Most partners pay 5 points per £1 spent, but launch partners and double-points weekends can pay much more — check the brand tile before you shop.

Can I earn points on insurance, surgeries and dental work?

Yes. Any verified spend at a partner vet — including operations, dental and monthly insurance — earns points. Just upload the receipt or pay through the linked partner.

Where can I spend my points?

In the Ploof+ shop. We have vouchers from 100+ brands including Pets at Home, Amazon, Tesco, Costa, John Lewis and most major pet specialists. Vouchers are delivered as digital codes within minutes.

Do points expire?

Points expire after 24 months of complete account inactivity (no earning, no logins). As long as you check in occasionally, your balance is safe.

Can I cash out points for real money?

Accepted Answer

Not directly — but most major retailers accept Ploof+ vouchers as payment, so you can effectively use points anywhere they're accepted. We don't charge fees on redemptions.

Which vets are on Ploof+?

We're rolling out across UK independent and group practices. Browse the directory at /vets — if your vet isn't listed yet, you can still earn points by uploading a receipt manually, and we'll invite them on your behalf.

What does my receipt need to show?

The vet practice name, visit date, total amount paid and your name. Photo or PDF, both work. Our team reviews receipts within 2 working days.

Can I claim points on past vet bills?

Yes — receipts up to 90 days old are eligible. Older than that and we can't verify them with the practice.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We're a UK company registered with Companies House (no. 16084031) and ICO registration is in progress. We never sell your data, and you can delete your account at any time from Settings.

Can I have more than one pet?

Absolutely. Pet profiles let you track multiple pets — dogs, cats, rabbits, anything — and pool every pet's earnings into one shared points wallet.

How do I close my account?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Delete account. Your profile, points history and personal data are removed within 30 days. Vouchers already redeemed remain valid.
